Hospice Companionship Volunteer

Do you want to bring comfort, joy, and meaningful connection to someone’s life? As a companionship volunteer with CorsoCare, you’ll spend time with patients, offering emotional support, conversation, and a caring presence.
 

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
  • Offer families a caring presence and occasional respite
  • Engage in meaningful activities with patients, such as reading, playing games, or simply enjoying conversation together
  • Engage in life review – listen to patients’ stories, memories, and experiences, helping them reflect on their life journey and share meaningful moments

Requirements

  • Compassion, reliability, and a caring attitude

  • Completion of volunteer training program
  • Background check and TB test
  • Bring comfort, companionship, and joy to patients who need it most – one visit at a time.

Commitment Details
We work with your schedule! Volunteers can visit once a week, twice a month, or once a month—whatever fits best for you. Typical visits last 1–3 hours, but timing can be flexible based on your availability and the patient’s needs.
