Help girls discover confidence, leadership, and lifelong friendships - and get paid to do it. As a Seasonal Membership Recruiter, you'll be the welcoming face of Girl Scouts at community events, helping families learn how to join and inspiring adults to step up as troop leaders. You could be the reason a girl joins her very first troop.

Why you'll love this role

  • $20/hour, about 20 hours per week
  • Flexible, event-based schedule - great if you need your daytime hours free
  • Short, defined season: mid-July through the Friday before Thanksgiving
  • Mileage reimbursed for local travel
  • Perfect for college students, educators, retirees, current Girl Scout parents, or anyone who loves working with kids and families

What you'll do

  • Represent Girl Scouts at back-to-school nights, festivals, school tabling events, and "Try Girl Scouts" gatherings
  • Lead short, fun, hands-on activities that introduce girls and families to Girl Scouts
  • Encourage parents and community members to become troop leaders and volunteers
  • Help families register and capture leads for follow-up
  • Set up displays, prep materials, and track event attendance

Most events run about 3 hours (including setup and wrap-up) and take place evenings and weekends throughout the community.

You'd be great at this if you're

  • Outgoing and energized by meeting new people
  • Comfortable talking with both parents and kids
  • Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable using basic technology for registration and communication
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)? We'd love to hear from you!

You'll need

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel to local events
  • To pass a criminal background check and become a registered Girl Scout member
  • Experience with children, families, or community organizations is a plus
