POSITION DETAILS
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $37.00 - $47.00 per hour
Location: Ashland, Ohio, on-site; 10-20 hours a week
Schedule is flexible, however Thursday afternoons/evenings are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy
- Conduct diagnostic intakes upon admission
- Complete discharge summaries upon program completion
- Maintain clinical documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes
EDUCATION
- Master’s degree in a mental health-related field
- Clinical licensure required (LPC, LSW, or equivalent Ohio licensure)
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years of direct psychotherapy experience in a mental health setting
- Experience working with adolescents and/or young adults preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of clinical practice and mental health treatment approaches
- Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic interventions and modalities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans, patient care coordination, and clinical research initiatives to optimize treatment outcomes.
License/Certification:
- LPC, LPCC, or LISW (Required)
