WIS Area Manager Job Preview 

As an Area Manager, you will lead teams during inventory events and help ensure excellent customer and team outcomes. You will:

  • Lead, coach, and develop teams of inventory professionals
  • Partner with District and Regional leaders to support operational goals
  • Plan and execute inventory events with a focus on accuracy, productivity, and efficiency
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and payroll to support strong operational results
  • Serve as a visible leader who models professionalism, safety, and inclusivity
  • Uphold WIS core values: Service, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork

This role provides real leadership responsibility early in your career, not just observation or administrative support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Ability to lead in a fast‑paced, variable schedule environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late nights

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, pre-employment drug screening and/or MVR check
  • A valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and/or meeting the Fleet driver requirements may be required depending on the District or Region needs

 

Working Conditions: 

This position requires frequent travel via automobile and air and the ability to adapt to changing working conditions, such as standing and sitting for long periods of time, as well as frequent walking. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
