Benefits Specialist
As a Benefits Specialist, you will deliver outstanding customer service to a broad range of employee and retiree groups delivering support in the main areas of health, retirement, life insurance, disability leave management and other benefits. You will work and use multiple methods of communication to resolve issues and inquiries with accuracy, sensitivity, and compassion. Reporting directly to the Benefits Service Center Team Lead you will guide communication between employees/retirees and vendors to concerns or inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Support all benefit inquiries from participants with an important focus on delivering employee experience
Guide communication between employees/retirees and vendors to concerns or inquiries
Support the US Benefits Service Center located in both the US and Mexico by answering customer phone calls and responding to email requests
Perform multiple administrative tasks including the distribution of materials, life event processing, enrollment administration, data integrity reconciliation and report processing
Handle the enrollment processes for all participants including guiding with selections and educating on any changes
Be the inquiry escalation lead to other Benefits Service Center team members
Help maintain company compliance with ERISA, COBRA and HIPAA; and any other department projects.
Qualifications
A HS Diploma/GED required, with a bachelor's degree in HR or Business
Experience working with computer systems such as Microsoft and Workday.
Two years' previous experience working in Human Resources
