Intervention Specialist Teacher
Yoder Learning Center is seeking multiple Intervention Specialist Teachers to join our team. We are a highly structured learning environment serving students with autism and other disabilities. We are looking for compassionate, flexible educators who are committed to supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth in a supportive and student-centered setting.
Available Grade Bands
- 1st–2nd Grade Classroom
- 6th–8th Grade Classroom
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and related service providers
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Experience working with students with autism and/or behavioral needs preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction and support based on students’ IEP goals
- Create and maintain a structured, positive classroom environment
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional development
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to support student success
- Maintain documentation and progress monitoring as required
