Gymnastics Lead Instructor

18 Yr Olds +

Zeeland Recreation is seeking a Lead Instructor for our youth gymnastics program, serving children ages 3-14. This program offers instruction for all skill levels, from beginners learning somersaults and swings to advanced gymnasts working on walkovers, handsprings, and aerials. In this role, you will lead gymnastics instruction, ensure a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment, oversee and guide assistant instructors and manage class schedules and programming. This position is specifically for weeknight gymnastic classes.

  • Compensation: $25-$30 per hour (based on years of experience)
  • Qualifications: Experience in competitive gymnastics as gymnast and/or coach; Experience leading and working with youth; Strong communication skills with both kids and adults; Dependability;

    • 4 hours per week during school year (Two Weeknights, 6:00-8:00 PM)
    • 20 hours per week during Summer (Mon-Thur | Various sessions)
