Environmental Scientist
- Enforce state environmental laws and regulations, specifically the Solid and Hazardous Waste Regulations,Radiation Regulations, and Underground Storage Tanks Regulations.
- Review and assess data collected by the Department, drafting appropriate enforcement actions for violations,monitoring for compliance after issuance of enforcement action
and closing and/or escalating enforcement on thesecases. - Occasionally accompanying the Department’s inspectors during inspections and communicating with the regulatedcommunity and the general public.
