Qualifications:
College student status or at least eighteen (18) years of age is required.
Training and experience in waterfront activities are required.
Current lifeguarding certification is required.
Current CPR and first aid certifications for the Professional Rescuer are preferred.
Training and certification courses will be provided during the training period.
Self-motivated, responsible, independent, and organized candidates are highly desired.

General Summary:
Under the supervision of the Camp Director/Complex Host, the Lake Lifeguard will perform various duties related to the waterfront program of the camp and picnic area.

Responsibilities:
Follow all safety regulations as outlined by the American Red Cross and New Jersey Department of Health standards.
Supervise swimming and boating activities at the waterfront.
Properly care for and maintain all waterfront equipment.
Conduct daily checks of equipment to ensure safety, cleanliness, and good repair.
