Are you energetic, responsible, and passionate about working with children? Willow Lake Day Camp is looking for enthusiastic lifeguard to help create a safe, fun, and unforgettable summer experience for our campers!

Position Details

• Position: Lifeguard
• Location: Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey
• Dates: June 11, 2026 – August 15, 2026
• Age Requirement: Must be 21+
• Only considering MALE applicants
• Certification: Previous lifeguard certification preferred — we can help recertify qualified candidates!

At Willow Lake, our aquatics team plays a huge role in making camp magical. Lifeguards supervise swim activities, ensure camper safety, encourage confidence in the water, and help create a positive environment where children can grow, explore, and have fun.

Position:
As a Summer Lifeguard, you will ensure a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience for campers. As a lifeguard, you'll be the watchful eye by the pool and lake, diligently monitoring swimmers and providing assistance when needed. Alongside your lifeguard duties, you'll also be doing small group swim instruction with campers ages K-4th grade. 

Staff Housing Available
Lifeguard staff members live at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ and Hudson Dorma in Hoboken, NJ.

Apartment/Suites include:

• Shared bedroom
• Private bathrooms
• Common living area
• Kitchenette
• Free Wi-Fi, laundry and rec area on site

Transportation is provided daily between housing and camp.

• Evenings free after 5pm
• Most weekends off
