Supply Chain Engineering Internship

Our Bradford White Canada operation, in Halton Hills, Ontario, offers training, and features a full-service parts operation, large electric product conversion services, and a state-of-the-art distribution center to support customers across all of Canada.
We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Engineering Intern. This position is based at our Middleville, MI location.
Responsibilities:
- Material Planning, Logistics, Production & Inventory Control, Warehousing & Distribution.
- Utilize Oracle EBS and other applications to monitor, collect, and report data
- Work with cross-functional teams on various projects to drive operational improvements
- Assist with planning, design, & implementation of operational process improvements
- Assist with data collection and reporting of key performance metrics
- Plan for Every Part (PFEP) for assembly lines to include work instruction creation, layout updates, 5S, and routing updates
- Complete time studies for common warehouse Hilo duties
- Create layered process audits for the warehouse
Qualifications:
- Sophomore status or above, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment
- Able to complete a 12 to 14 week assignment (May-August), working full time 40 hrs/wk
