Recruiter Intern – Automotive Engineering

We are looking for a Recruiter Intern to support recruiting efforts for automotive engineering positions in areas such as process engineering, automation, plastics/injection molding, foaming, and facilities/equipment engineering. The role is best suited for someone with an automotive-related technical background and a strong network of classmates, alumni, or industry connections in the automotive engineering field
 

Responsibilities

• Help identify and connect potential candidates for automotive engineering openings, including process, automation, molding, foaming, and facilities roles.
• Share job information with relevant contacts and make warm introductions when appropriate.
• Support candidate outreach through WeChat, LinkedIn, alumni groups, and personal networks.
• Maintain a simple list of referrals, background notes, and communication status.
• Communicate clearly with the recruiting team about candidate interest and fit.

Qualifications

• Major in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Materials/Polymer/Plastics Engineering, which align most closely with the target roles in assembly, injection molding, foaming, automation, and plant engineering.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry, especially OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Having friends, classmates, alumni, or former colleagues in automotive engineering is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable with outreach and follow-up.
• Interest in recruiting, talent sourcing, career advising, or the automotive industry.
