Business Operations Analyst

Business Operations Analyst

Supreme Gear Company has been serving industries vital to global prosperity for decades, including aerospace, defense, automotive, marine, medical, and commercial markets. As a manufacturer of precision-machined components, we supply major aircraft builders with highly critical products such as aircraft and missile engine gears, complete gearboxes, gear shafts, drives, sprockets, and related components.

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Analyst to support our corporate staff and executive leadership in the daily operations and continued growth of our business. This dynamic, multi-faceted role offers broad exposure to accounting/finance, customer program management, systems, reporting, and special projects. The ideal candidate enjoys variety and challenge, excels at multitasking, and thrives in a fast-paced aerospace/defense manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Functions and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Support of accounting and finance functions, including reporting, data analysis, reconciliations, and coordination with finance leadership
  • Support of customer program management, including program tracking, coordination, documentation, customer communication, and cross-functional visibility
  • Customization, creation, and maintenance of executive reports, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Software application integration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance (ERP and business systems)
  • Business writing, including professional correspondence, executive communications, and customer-facing materials
  • Sales & marketing support, including eCommerce initiatives, industry events, Constant Contact campaigns, and website maintenance
  • Special projects as assigned to support corporate objectives
  • Occasional travel

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Education and/or experience in Business Management, Accounting/Finance, Program Management, Computer Science/IT, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in report creation, customization, financial/operational analysis, and data accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate or advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel expertise highly valued)
  • Experience with Global Shop ERP system and/or Crystal Reports is a strong plus
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Self-starter who can prioritize, work independently, and maintain a positive attitude with a strong sense of urgency
  • Exceptional work ethic and commitment to meeting or exceeding expectations

U.S. Citizenship / ITAR Requirement
Due to the nature of our work and compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
