  • Professional Mentorship: Receive 1-on-1 guidance from experienced operations professionals.
  • Skill Development: Gain proficiency in safety audit, hazard identification, and EHS documentation.
  • Networking: Build professional connections within the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Audits: Assist with weekly facility walk-throughs to identify potential hazards and ensure PPE compliance.
  • Documentation: Help maintain safety data sheets (SDS) and update safety training logs.
  • Equipment Inspections: Assist in checking fire extinguishers, eye-wash stations, and spill kits.
  • Training Support: Help prepare materials for employee safety meetings and "toolbox talks."
  • Special Projects: Support the implementation of new safety initiatives or environmental sustainability programs.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in degree program (Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Technology, or a related field a plus)
  • A strong interest in workplace safety and environmental protection.
  • Effective communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Reliable transportation to the facility.
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods and navigate a manufacturing floor.
