Our IT Intern will assist the SEC's Election Technology division, handling the software, security, and equipment involved in elections. The ideal candidate will assist with various IT projects, support our IT staff, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Help with system maintenance and updates.
  • Support the installation and configuration of IT equipment.
  • Assist in user support and training.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Aid the success of internal communications within the agency

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with an eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
