Virtual Assistant Emerging Professional
Overview
Stone International Wellness Center is seeking a detail-oriented and highly adaptable Virtual Assistant Emerging Professional to support the executive team with administrative, clerical, and operational tasks. This role is ideal for students who are organized, proactive, and eager to develop professional communication and project-management skills in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.
The Virtual Assistant will help ensure smooth operations by coordinating schedules, managing communications, and maintaining digital organization systems. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business administration, nonprofit management, and executive support.

Compensation
This is an unpaid Emerging Professional internship offering mentorship, leadership experience, and professional development in nonprofit administration.
Schedule
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Thursday: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Monthly Volunteering Event: Fourth Saturday, 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Up to 20 hours per week
Emerging Professional Program
Stone International Wellness Center’s Emerging Professional Program equips students and young adults with leadership, communication, and administrative skills through real-world experience. Participants receive mentorship and training while contributing directly to community impact initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time-management abilities
- Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, adaptable, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with digital organization tools (Google Drive, shared calendars, task management apps)
- Professional and courteous communication style
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Currently enrolled in college, pursuing or interested in Business Administration, Office Management, or Communications
- Experience in administrative support or office coordination is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Support executive leadership with administrative and clerical duties
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and organize documentation
- Maintain digital records and update organizational files in Google Drive
- Prepare reports, meeting notes, and presentation materials
- Draft and organize email communication, memos, and correspondence
- Assist with internal communication between departments and volunteers
- Conduct research and compile data as requested
- Help coordinate logistics for events, programs, and community initiatives
- Support with document formatting, proofreading, and file organization
- Participate in the Serving Hope community event (4th Saturday, 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
