Landscape Leader In Training - Greenville, SC

Launch Your Leadership Journey 🌱🚀

Location: Greenville, SC | Program Duration: 24-Month Development Path

The Goal: To turn your green industry degree into real-world leadership through hands-on landscape operations and management training.

Why Join The Budd Group?

You didn’t spend four years studying turf, horticulture, or agribusiness just to sit behind a desk. At The Budd Group, we believe the best landscape leaders are built in the field.

Our Landscape Leader in Training (LLIT) program is a hands-on leadership development experience designed for recent graduates ready to grow into operational leadership roles in the landscape industry.

The Experience: A Journey from Field to Leadership

This isn’t your average entry-level role. You’ll grow through a structured development path that takes you from foundational skills to full operational leadership.

Hands-On Foundations (Field Professional):
Start where the work happens. You’ll gain real-world experience in landscape operations—performing field work, understanding materials, capturing site assessments, and mastering efficiency in execution.

Team Leadership (Field Leader):
Step into leadership by overseeing assignments, guiding crews, and building accountability while developing your leadership style.

Operational Excellence:
Expand your knowledge of operations by managing schedules, coordinating resources, and supporting branch leaders in executing high-quality work.

Management Mastery (Operations Manager):
Take ownership of full operations—leading teams, driving customer relationships, and managing financial performance and growth strategies.
