$1,800 – $2,000 (based on age & experience) + room & board
Are you always capturing the moment, creating content, and telling stories online? Cub Scout Adventure Camp is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Specialist to showcase the magic of camp all summer long!
What You’ll Do:
As our Social Media Specialist, you’ll be responsible for bringing camp to life through photos, videos, and storytelling:
- Capture daily photos and videos of camp activities, events, and campers (following all youth protection guidelines)
- Create and post engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Highlight camp programs, themed activities, and special moments
- Work with camp leadership to ensure messaging aligns with camp goals
- Organize and manage photo/video files throughout the summer
- Assist with end-of-week recaps and promotional materials
- Help build excitement and engagement with families and the community
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Basic photography and video skills (phone or camera)
- Creative eye for storytelling and content creation
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and stay on top of daily posting
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for camp life
- Experience with Canva, editing apps, or social media tools is a plus
