Why Is This Role So Special?
The Staff Accountant plays a vital role in our accounting team. You’ll support core accounting functions such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities. This role is ideal for an entry-level candidate, and no prior accounting experience is required—we’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, coachable, and motivated to grow with our growing company.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare monthly journal entries for various areas
Prepare general ledger account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests
Support compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum associate’s degree in accounting or finance required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Cell formatting, etc.)
Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy
Schedule:
Full time, 40 hours/week
Monday to Friday
