About This Internship
This is a hands-on summer experience designed for students interested in exploring careers in real estate, property management, or business operations. You’ll be placed at one of our local apartment communities while also gaining exposure to our Support Center and visiting other properties to understand how different teams and markets operate.
Location: Grand Rapids, MI (with travel opportunities)
Duration: June–August 2026 (10–12 weeks, flexible start/end dates)
Schedule: Full-time (35–40 hours/week)
What You’ll Experience
- Leasing & Marketing: Give tours, connect with prospective residents, and support leasing efforts
- Resident Experience: Assist with events, communication, and creating a strong community environment
- Operations: Learn how properties function behind the scenes, including maintenance and workflows
- Corporate Exposure: Spend time with teams like HR, marketing, and accounting
- Travel Opportunities: Visit other properties and experience different markets
- Capstone Project: Work on a real business challenge and present your ideas to leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Rising juniors or seniors (business, real estate, hospitality, or related majors preferred)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Interest in real estate or customer-focused industries
- Someone who takes initiative, asks questions, and is open to feedback
- Team-oriented with a positive, flexible approach

Compensation & Benefits
- $18–$22/hour
