T-15 ESY

(Number of positions hired depends on enrollment)


Type of Position: Temporary (Extended School Year)
 

Transition15 is a secondary educational program for students ages 18-22 with continuing special education needs, provided by St. Francis Area Schools, District 15, connecting special education, vocational education, and community agencies to assist students with disabilities in the transition to adult life.

Duty Days/Hours:
Friday, June 5 (2 hours of prep + virtual informational meeting)
Monday- Thursday, June 8 - June 11 (Hours TBD)

Salary:$18.22 - $22.21 as per Educational Assistant Work Agreement 

Qualifications:  

  • Required:
    • High School Diploma
    • Highly Qualified Status
    • PCA Certification
  • Preferred: Experience working with students with special needs; current CPI certification


Job Duties:

  • Provide support to students based on their IEP goals and objectives
  • Report to the Special Education Teachers for schedules/expectations of student support
  • Report to the ESY Coordinator as appropriate.
