Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC / LCMHC-A)
Greenville, North Carolina
We are hiring Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors to support adults with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders across multiple programs, including ACT and Community Support services. We are also hiring candidates with prior supervision or program oversight experience for leadership-track roles.
What you will do
- Provide mental health counseling and therapeutic support in home, office, and partner settings (clinicians typically work across 3–4 care environments each week)
- Deliver individual and group therapy, including CBT, skills-building, and crisis stabilization interventions
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans aligned with client goals
- Support clients with co-occurring substance use conditions in coordination with addiction specialists and medical staff
- Work alongside psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and peer support specialists in integrated care models (4–6 disciplines collaborating per program)
- Coordinate care with local providers, housing resources, and community supports to reduce gaps between services
- Document care using a custom electronic health record built internally (designed around clinician workflows; reduces repeat data entry and shortens documentation time)
- Participate in structured team collaboration, case reviews, and care planning sessions each week
- Engage clients in community settings to improve consistency in treatment participation and outcomes
