Financial Sales Representative – Northwestern Mutual - May 2026 Grads 

 

Northwestern Mutual – West Chester is seeking a new Representative to join our firm. A successful applicant will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, have a demonstrated history of personal success, value professional interdependence with a world-class company, have a high standard of ethics, and have a demonstrated interest in community impact and business development.

 

In this role, you will meet with clients to find out their needs and goals, make recommendations for the appropriate insurance and investment products, and provide ongoing client service beyond the plan implementation. You’ll have experienced mentors, access to strong professional networks, and unlimited earning potential. Our representatives come from varying academic backgrounds and experiences to build rewarding practices and relationships with their clients.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to potential clients
  • Gain sufficient understanding of products and services offered by Northwestern Mutual and how their clients achieve financial goals
  • Attend client meetings
  • Communicate effectively with senior advisors for planning and preparation
  • Prepare or assist in preparing comprehensive, holistic financial plans
  • Attend weekly development meetings with the assigned Director
  • Participate in training, development, and coaching – expand on your knowledge of our comprehensive approach to financial planning and cultivate your professional development skills

 

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Connected to the Cincinnati area
  • Ability to work on own initiative and independently
  • Commitment to providing a first-class client experience
  • Knowing how to connect with people and easily build trusted relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

 

Stand Out Position Qualifications:

  • Experience in a professional work environment
  • Managing multiple priorities between school, work, or extra-curricular activities
  • Experience in Sales/Entrepreneurial work
  • Previous involvement in campus organizations or current involvement in community organizations
  • Demonstrating leadership skills
