Pain Management Medical Assistant Fellowship

Manhattan Restorative Health Sciences' (MRHS) award-winning Pain Management Fellowship is now open to pre-MD, pre-RN and pre-PA students looking to gain experience in a high-volume private practice based in and around the five boroughs. 

You will shadow NYC Super Doctor Timothy Canty who has built this practice over the past 15 years, as well as other providers in our Fellowship program. 

You will learn and receive hands-on experience with:

• Interventional Pain Management procedures
• Anesthesiology 
• Creating treatment plans for Pain patients
• OR operations
• Workers Comp and No Fault insurance patients
• Major Medical insurance patients 
• Clinic business operations 

Qualifications:

• Energetic, challenge-driven, personable, and responsible with a professional demeanor
• Dependable and punctual
• Must be knowledgeable in medical terminology
• Strong computer skills, and EMR experience
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high turnover operating room, or procedure suite setting is important
• Spanish speaking is a plus
