Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

AUTISM Behavior Technician

MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVERY DAY IN A CHILD'S LIFE DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM.

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week - Consistent Schedule of 7:45 am-3:45 pm

Hourly pay is dependent on qualifications such as experience, degree, and level of provider, ranging from $23-$25/hr.

Must Meet One of the Following Level 1 Provider Qualifications:

  • Is a Graduate student in one of the behavioral science or related fields
  • Possesses a Master’s Degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university

Must Meet One of the Following Level 2 Provider Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4,000 hours (2 years) of supervised experience in the delivery of services to children with mental illness in a clinical setting (supervisor on-site is required, in a facility)
  • Possesses an Associate's Degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields AND 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to children with mental illness in a clinical setting (supervisor on-site is required, in a facility)
  • Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university (Six[6] months supervised experience in the delivery of services to children with mental illness in a clinical setting is preferred(supervisor on-site is required, in a facility)
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university

Preferred but not required:

· ABA experience

· Staff will provide 1 on 1 services to a team of 5 to 6 learners.

Summary/Objective AUTISM Behavior Technician

  • Work 1:1 with children ages 2-7 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at an Applied Behavior Analysis center
  • Provide Family Skills Sessions and / or Family Psychotherapy after advancing
  • Conduct groups skills trainings pertaining to art, music and movement, social interactions, story time, and more
  • Team building trainings every day and after-hours team events
