Junior Superintendent

We are seeking a motivated Junior Superintendent to assist in managing daily operations on construction sites. This role is ideal for individuals with some field experience who are looking to grow into a senior site management position. You will help ensure that construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Superintendent in daily site operations and coordination.

Monitor construction progress to ensure alignment with project timelines.

Enforce site safety protocols and conduct regular inspections.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.

Report progress, delays, and issues to the Superintendent or Project Manager.

Maintain project documentation and daily logs.

Ensure materials and equipment are available and stored properly.

Help resolve onsite issues quickly and effectively.

Attend site meetings and contribute to planning and scheduling.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in construction, preferably in a site supervisory role.

Basic understanding of construction drawings, codes, and standards.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Knowledge of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA or local equivalents).

Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic construction management software.

Preferred Qualifications

OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent.

Experience with [insert specific software or tools, e.g., Procore

First Aid and CPR certification.
