Summer Event & Activities Coordinator

BattleGR and BGR Event Center is looking for high-energy team players to help create unforgettable experiences this summer. If you love working with people, thrive in dynamic environments, and want more than just another boring summer job - keep reading.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: This is part event coordinator, part activities leader, part hype person. You'll be:

  • Running laser tag battles, archery tag, axe throwing sessions, and epic foam parties
  • Helping coordinate corporate team building events, weddings, birthday parties, and community events
  • Leading our 3-week summer day camp program for kids ages 5-14
  • Working both our venue in Comstock Park AND mobile "Games on Wheels" events at off-site locations
  • Thinking on your feet when plans change (because they will!)
  • Making sure every guest leaves with a story to tell

WHO YOU ARE:

  • High energy and enthusiasm - You bring the vibe, even on the hottest day of summer
  • A team player - You've got your crew's back, always
  • Quick on your feet - No script, no problem. You adapt and figure it out
  • Service-minded - You genuinely want people to have an awesome time
  • Hospitality or customer service experience is a major plus
  • Comfortable working outdoors (our mobile division goes where the party is)
  • 18+ preferred, but we'll consider mature 16-17 year-olds

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • On your feet for most of your shift
  • Able to lift 40-50 lbs
  • Comfortable working outdoors in Michigan summer weather
