Coffee Sales Associate

Location: St Joseph, MI
 Schedule: Saturdays, early morning setup through 2:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are looking for an energetic and friendly college student to join our team as a Coffee Sales Associate. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys meeting new people, loves coffee, and wants a fun, social weekend job. You’ll represent our coffee brand at the farmers market in St. Joseph along the shore of Lake Michigan, engage with customers, and help drive sales in a lively outdoor market setting. Possibility of additional representations at local businesses throughout the summer.

This position is also a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, small business operations, marketing, and local consumer trends while working directly with customers in a vibrant community environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and break down the coffee booth at farmers markets
• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming way
• Share information about our coffee products and brewing methods
• Provide samples and answer customer questions
• Process sales and handle basic cash or digital payments
• Maintain a clean and organized booth space
• Represent the brand in a positive, enthusiastic manner

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a 2-year college or community college program preferred
• Available Saturday mornings through 2:00 PM
• Outgoing personality and comfortable talking with new people
• Strong communication and basic sales skills
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Able to stand for several hours and assist with light setup/teardown
• A genuine interest in coffee (coffee lovers encouraged!)

Preferred Traits:

• Interest in local foods, or small businesses
• Prior retail, hospitality, or customer service experience
• Enthusiasm for learning about coffee and sharing it with others
