Business Development Intern
Position: Business Development Intern (Gov Contracting & Proposal Focus)
Location: Remote
SimInsights is seeking a Business Development Intern who is highly organized, motivated, familiar with AI tools and a persuasive writer. This position is best suited for someone who is interested in a career in tech sales, RFP response writing, or public sector business development as there will be a lot of work in drafting and coordinating responses to formal project bids (RFPs) for school districts, universities, and government agencies.
Responsibilities
- Understand requirements for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and grants through regular interaction with the sales, marketing, and technical stakeholders.
- Draft, format, and organize persuasive proposal responses to increase our overall RFP submission rate and drive product success in the Enterprise, Higher Ed and K12 markets.
- Maintain and organize a "Content Library" of standard company answers, pricing models, and technical product descriptions to streamline and accelerate the bidding process.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree (or Associate degree) in Business, Communications, English, Political Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with proposal writing, technical writing, or researching government/education procurement processes.
- Very good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and written & verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail and deadlines.
- Must be a great team player.
