Job Type : One Time (Research Participation)

Location : Onsite (St.Paul, MN) or In-Home (based on availability)

Compensation

Same-Gender Biological Siblings (Non-Twins)

Cleveland:
• $200 per participant (onsite)
• $300 per participant (in-home)

Identical Twins

• $600 per twin

Referral Bonus:
• $60 per completed sibling pair

About the Study

Project Humus is a paid research study designed to improve AI systems so they better reflect real people and real-world environments.

Participants will complete simple, guided tasks while being audio and video-recorded for research purposes only.

Sessions are approximately:
• 2–2.5 hours onsite
• 2.5–3 hours in-home

Participation is completely voluntary and recordings are not shared publicly. 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Saying short phrases
• Reading short prompts aloud
• Explaining a simple topic for 2–3 minutes
• Making facial expressions and head movements
• Performing light everyday tasks (e.g., organizing items)
• Following moderator instructions

No acting or technical experience required. 

Eligibility Requirements

You must:

• Be 18 years or older
• Be same-gender, look-alike biological siblings (no step-siblings)
• Both siblings must participate
• Be able to follow instructions in English
• Present a valid government-issued photo ID
• Live in an active study area (St.Paul, Minnesota)

Each sibling must register separately.
