IT Manufacturing Intern Job Description

Description

Union Agener (UA) is a veterinary pharmaceutical company owned by Uniao Quimica of Brazil. UA is an intense and exciting company and is looking for interns to join our Information Technology team.  Selected Interns will work to support our site while learning computer systems and technologies used by UA at our Augusta facility.  Interns will gain exposure to networking and software systems used in a facility producing product for worldwide distribution.  This internship program will feature hands on experience with valuable exposure to the pharmaceutical business and FDA requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the IT team in maintaining hardware and software systems.
  • Assist with documentation and SOPs (cGMPs)
  • Assist with organizing and deploying IT resources and helpdesk tasks 
  • Learn as you work in support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, data analytics, and data center management. 

 

Requirements

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Familiar with Java, .NET, JavaScript or HTML/DHTML and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
