Intern: Crop Scout Summer 2026

AgServ Consulting Inc looking for a motivated individual in the northern Red River valley to

Perform regular inspection of customer crop fields, monitor crops, identify weeds and disease problems. Must have great communication skills, and very detail oriented. 

 

You will:

Play in important role in field scouting services to help farmers make timely, informed and economical crop decisions.

Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds for weeds and insects.

Generate digital reports using advanced technology.

Operate an ATV, Dirt bike to scout field in a safe way.

Learn about soybean seed, treatment types and inoculants.

Take soil samples using advanced equipment. 

Learn how to maintain equipment and facility.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Have a valid driver’s license.

Agriculture experience or background.

Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
