Internship Snapshot:

The Aircraft Noise Department is looking for an Intern II to support efforts in understanding and managing aircraft noise while contributing to projects that impact both the airport and surrounding communities. This role provides hands-on experience working with aircraft noise data and reporting tools to help monitor activity and support responses to community concerns.

While data plays an important role, this position is equally focused on how that information is interpreted and communicated. You will gain exposure to how the airport responds to inquiries, engages with residents, and supports compliance with noise regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an interest in aviation, public policy, or community engagement. This internship offers a unique lens into how airports operate within their communities, where technical information, regulatory requirements, and public perspectives come together to shape real-world decisions.
