Guest Experience and Hospitality Intern

As a K9 Resorts Intern, your mission is simple:
Delight our guests. Wow our clients. Elevate the experience.

You’ll rotate through key areas of the resort to build a well‑rounded understanding of luxury pet hospitality, including:

Guest Experience & Client Interaction

  • Create a warm, welcoming environment for clients and their dogs
  • Assist with check‑ins, check‑outs, and reservation coordination
  • Support clients by answering questions and guiding them through services
  • Help deliver a VIP experience that reflects our luxury brand

Animal Care & Enrichment

  • Assist with feeding, medication routines, and one‑on‑one play sessions
  • Support daycare operations, ensuring safe and positive group play
  • Perform body checks to identify pre‑existing conditions or concerns
  • Participate in bathing and grooming‑adjacent tasks

Resort Operations & Cleanliness

  • Learn the standards of sanitation, disinfecting, and facility upkeep
  • Support both front‑end and back‑end teams in maintaining a pristine environment
  • Understand how operational excellence supports a luxury guest experience

This internship blends hospitality, customer service, and hands‑on animal care—ideal for students exploring careers in business, hospitality, communications, animal science, veterinary fields, or service‑based leadership.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift at least 20 lbs
  • Comfortable working some weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional presence
  • Interest in hospitality, customer service, or animal care
  • Experience in guest service, customer service, kennel work, grooming, or veterinary settings is a plus—but not required
