Qualifications:

Valid NJ School Nurse certification (#3300) (emergency or standard) or NJ School Nurse/ Non-Instructional (#3310) (emergency or standard), depending upon assignment. 

Goals:

To provide the fullest possible educational opportunity for each student by minimizing absence due to illness and creating a climate of health and well-being in the district schools. Administers medications as prescribed by students’ doctors. Follow medical plans of students, and provide ongoing and emergency care as needed.
