Step into a career where communication meets opportunity.  As a Verizon Sales Agent with VMG, Inc., you’ll be part of a dynamic team representing Verizon at retail and special events (home shows, trade shows, sporting events, expos, etc.) across Rhode Island and Massachusetts, this is NOT a door to door or a “canvassing” position!  This is the perfect role for motivated individuals eager to learn, grow, and succeed in a fast-paced, people-first environment.  With hands-on training, supportive leadership, and top-tier sales tools, you’ll begin building customer relationships and generating sales right away.

What You’ll Do as a Verizon Sales Agent

  • Represent Verizon at events and retail locations across RI and MA
  • Engage directly with customers to identify needs and introduce solutions
  • Present and demonstrate Verizon’s products and services in a clear, confident way
  • Use negotiation and upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Collaborate with your team to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Utilize advanced tools and resources to enhance sales performance
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • Deliver excellent customer service from first interaction to close of sale

What We’re Looking For In a Verizon Sales Agent

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
  • Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required — we provide full entry level training to the right candidate
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Driven, organized, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment
  • Sports-minded individuals tend to excel in this role due to their competitive drive
  • Top candidates move into a team lead position with a future in management (Interns have the opportunity to lead a small team and will learn interviewing, training, and team management)
