Schedule: Full-Time | First Shift

Bronson South Haven is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. This position is ideal for clinicians who enjoy hands-on patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and helping patients restore function and mobility.

You will work with a variety of patients with orthopedic, neurologic, and musculoskeletal conditions in a supportive outpatient setting focused on quality care and positive patient outcomes.

Role Overview

This role provides outpatient rehabilitation services focused on improving mobility, reducing pain, and helping patients regain independence.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver individualized therapy services based on patient needs and treatment goals
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Participate in department initiatives and quality improvement efforts

Additional Responsibilities

Physical Therapist (PT)

• Perform patient evaluations and interpret physician referrals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Establish functional baselines and monitor patient progress
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, students, and rehab support staff when applicable
• Participate in program development and clinical education initiatives

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

• Provide therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Carry out established treatment plans and therapeutic interventions
• Support patients in individual or group therapy activities
• Collaborate with the care team to support patient goals and recovery

Qualifications

Physical Therapist

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire

Physical Therapist Assistant

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Michigan
• Previous PTA experience preferred
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
