Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Investment Due Diligence Analysts.

This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification and verification process.

Once approved, Investment Due Diligence Analysts:

Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

Gain access to live investment opportunities requiring diligence support

Support investors, fund managers, and sponsors on active transactions

Build a verified diligence and risk analysis track record

Develop an Analyst Rating Score tied to performance and accuracy

Certification tiers: Senior Investment Due Diligence Analyst · Lead Investment Due Diligence Analyst · Investment Due Diligence Analyst

Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges

Senior Investment Due Diligence Analyst

Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, Big 4 Transaction Advisory, restructuring, or senior corporate development professionals with 5+ years of diligence and transaction experience.

Lead Investment Due Diligence Analyst

Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of financial diligence, modeling, or transaction support experience.

Investment Due Diligence Analyst

Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong financial statement analysis and risk assessment capabilities.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on your certification approvals, Investment Due Diligence Analysts may be engaged for:

Financial & Accounting Diligence

Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis

Revenue and margin normalization

Working capital analysis

Cash flow sustainability review

Debt and capital structure analysis

Identification of accounting risks and red flags

Commercial & Operational Diligence

Market and competitive landscape research

Unit economics analysis

Customer concentration and churn analysis

Operational performance benchmarking

Risk assessment and mitigation analysis

Investment Committee & Decision Support

Investment memo drafting and structuring

Risk summary reports

Data room review and organization

Sensitivity and downside scenario analysis

Coordination of third-party diligence inputs

Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.

How Analysts Start Earning

Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

Receive category-specific approvals (Financial Diligence, Commercial Diligence, Risk Analysis)

Get verified on the platform

Begin earning income immediately through hourly diligence projects and live transaction support

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively matched with investors and deal teams requiring diligence expertise.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:

Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training

Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each Investment Due Diligence Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

Platform visibility

Approved diligence categories

Recommended hourly rates

Eligibility for higher-tier investment mandates

Compensation & Deal Terms

Analysts are independent contractors, not employees

Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, performance, or compliance issues

Provide investment advice

Solicit securities

Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All work is limited to analytical, diligence, risk assessment, and financial support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
