Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Transaction Analysis Associates.

This is not a traditional employment role. Associates operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification and verification process.

Once approved, Transaction Analysis Associates:

Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

Gain access to active deal flow and paid transaction support work

Support investors, fund managers, sponsors, and operators on live transactions

Build a verified deal execution track record and Analyst Rating Score

Certification tiers: Senior Transaction Associate · Lead Transaction Associate · Transaction Associate

Associate Levels & Pay Ranges

Senior Transaction Associate

Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, transaction advisory, Big 4 TAS, or senior corporate development professionals with 5+ years of transaction execution experience.

Lead Transaction Associate

Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of transaction modeling, diligence, or execution experience.

Transaction Associate

Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level finance professionals with strong technical and analytical performance in deal environments.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on your certification approvals, Transaction Analysis Associates may be engaged for:

Transaction Modeling & Valuation

3-statement financial models

DCF / LBO modeling

Merger models and accretion/dilution analysis

Commercial real estate underwriting

Sensitivity and scenario analysis

Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis

Football field valuation summaries

Transaction structuring analysis

Due Diligence & Execution Support

Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis

Financial statement review and normalization

Commercial and operational diligence

Data room organization and analysis

Risk identification and mitigation analysis

Investment memo and committee presentation support

Buyer/seller side transaction support

Associates may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.

How Associates Start Earning

Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

Receive category-specific approvals (Transaction Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)

Get verified on the platform

Begin earning income immediately through hourly transaction projects and live deal support

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified associates are actively promoted to investors, sponsors, and deal teams within the ecosystem.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:

Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training

Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each Transaction Analysis Associate receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

Visibility on the platform

Approved transaction work categories

Recommended hourly rates

Eligibility for higher-tier transaction assignments

Compensation & Deal Terms

Associates are independent contractors, not employees

Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

Associates may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All work is limited to analytical, diligence, modeling, and transaction support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
