Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Sponsor Analytics Analysts.

This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through our certification and verification process.

Once approved, Sponsor Analytics Analysts:

Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

Gain access to live sponsor-led deal flow and paid analytical work

Support deal sponsors, fund managers, and investors on active transactions

Build a verified sponsor-facing deal track record and Analyst Rating Score

Certification tiers: Senior Sponsor Analyst · Lead Sponsor Analyst · Sponsor Analyst / Associate

Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges

Senior Sponsor Analyst

Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, real estate private equity, infrastructure, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of sponsor-side deal experience.

Lead Sponsor Analyst

Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of sponsor-focused modeling, underwriting, or transaction execution experience.

Sponsor Analyst / Associate

Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong financial modeling and sponsor-support capabilities.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on your certification approvals, Sponsor Analytics Analysts may be engaged for:

Sponsor Financial Modeling & Underwriting

3-statement financial models

Commercial real estate underwriting

DCF / LBO modeling

Project finance models

Sensitivity and scenario analysis

Cap table modeling

Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis

Football field valuation summaries

Sponsor Deal Support & Diligence

Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis

Commercial and operational diligence

Data room organization and analysis

Risk assessment

Investment memo and IC presentation support

Investor reporting support

Transaction structuring analysis

Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.

How Analysts Start Earning

Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

Receive category-specific approvals (Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence, Sponsor Support)

Get verified on the platform

Begin earning income immediately through hourly sponsor projects and live deal work

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively promoted to deal sponsors and investors across the ecosystem.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:

Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training

Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each Sponsor Analytics Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

Visibility on the platform

Approved sponsor work categories

Recommended hourly rates

Eligibility for higher-tier sponsor assignments

Compensation & Deal Terms

Analysts are independent contractors, not employees

Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

Provide investment advice

Solicit securities

Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All work is limited to analytical, diligence, modeling, and sponsor-support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
