South Lyon First United Methodist Church seeks a Youth Coordinator, part-time (8-10 hrs/week), to nurture faith formation among the youth (ages 11-18) in our congregation. This position requires a passion for working with youth and provides the opportunity to play a key role in shaping our youth programs.

Primary responsibilities for this position are:

--Collaborate with the Lead Pastor, Director of Faith Formation, and Christian Education Team to create and carry out youth activities outside of Sunday mornings

--Recruit, train, coordinate, and encourage volunteers

--Attend services, church events, community activities, and meetings as requested

--Help plan and manage youth programs, demonstrating strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
