Physical Therapist Early Acceptance Bonus
MaineGeneral Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our skilled nursing rehabilitation team. This role (4 days/week) offers a unique balance of autonomy, clinical collaboration, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults regaining their independence.

**An early acceptance incentive of $4,000 awaits qualified new graduate Physical Therapists**
Candidates are encouraged to apply at least 6 weeks before their graduation date; however, some exceptions may be made based on program needs and timing.
Offer letters should be signed within 1 week of receipt.
The incentive is paid in full in your first paycheck as a Physical Therapist.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ physical therapy needs
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions
- Document subjective, objective, and assessment findings and monitor progress toward goals
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and equipment
- Collaborate on discharge planning and connect patients with ongoing supports and adaptive tools
- Supervise and delegate care to Physical Therapist Assistants in accordance with licensure standards
- Work with a high degree of autonomy while being part of a supportive clinical team
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed (or eligible) Physical Therapist in the State of Maine
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Interest in working with older adults in a skilled nursing rehab setting
- Passion for helping others regain mobility, function, and confidence
