Knowledge Transfer Program (KTP)

T. Dallas Smith & Company’s Knowledge Transfer Program, formerly the TDS&Co Summer Internship, is an immersive, 8-week experiential learning program designed to develop future leaders in commercial real estate through direct mentorship from our Founder and CEO, T. Dallas Smith. The program was intentionally designed to ensure decades of knowledge, experience, and lessons learned are passed on to the next generation.

The program places a strong emphasis on relationship-building, recognizing that success in business is driven as much by trust and long-term partnerships as by technical expertise. Through hands-on learning and real-world application, participants gain direct exposure to the principles, strategies, and decision-making processes that have shaped the firm’s success.

Participants can expect to apply practical skills and reframe how they build, manage, and leverage their most important relationships. By the end of the program, participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the industry, expanded professional networks, and the confidence to apply learned skills in real-world environments.
