Most positions with IFI require the development of a ministry partner team that supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses. If God is calling you to work with IFI, after your acceptance to become a staff member, we will provide you with the training you will need to develop a team of ministry partners who will support your ministry.

Work Schedule:
We offer flexible full or part time options. Overtime or weekends may be required for specific events as well as attendance at the annual IFI retreat.
Pay Structure:
IFI provides Boston Ministry Leaders with training in personal fundraising, enabling them to build a support team to cover their salary, benefits, ministry expenses, and prayer needs. The salary ranges from $25,709 to $80,000, depending on experience and contingent on funding.

Benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and devotion days, along with health coverage (medical, dental, vision). A staff care team is also available to support the Boston Ministry Leader's mental, social, and spiritual well-being.
About the Area and Responsibilities of a Boston Ministry Leader
There are over 50,000 international students studying on 28 campuses in the Boston, MA area. Boston offers an amazing opportunity to befriend and show hospitality to international students on some of the most influential campuses in the world, impacting tomorrow's leaders from all over the world. This position is part of the Boston ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving.
As a Boston Ministry Leader, you will establish a presence by building relationships with university staff, church partners, and volunteers. Your responsibilities include leading the location's ministry efforts, mobilizing others to host Bible discussion groups, and organizing cultural events. You will also ensure that IFI is recognized as a student organization, maintain strong campus relationships, and secure the necessary financial and prayer support.

To be considered, you must adhere to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies. The role requires a person of strong character, committed to extending God's love globally by equipping volunteers to effectively communicate about God's love across cultures.
Education/Experience for a Boston Ministry Leader
- Proven experience in ministry, training, and mobilization is required
- Cross-cultural experience is preferred
- A college degree is preferred
