Salary Range: $19.50 - $26.50 Per Hour

Summary
Assist the Program Director in supervising program staff. Assist and lead program staff in supervising school aged children in a safe
and structured environment on the Jefferson Academy Elementary campus, within JagCare’s premises as well as offsite during
authorized program field trips.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Substitute for Program Director when they are absent;
● Take charge when parents or visitors sidetrack the Program Director;
● Be knowledgeable and informative towards parents and staff;
● Assist the Program Director with administrative work and financial bookkeeping;
● Supervise school age children alone and with other staff;
● Assist or provide age-appropriate activities and games for the program;
● Facilitate or assist in facilitating such age-appropriate activities or games;
● Split responsibilities of the program while on off-site program field trips;
● Take lead of the program on off-site program field trips;
● Lead an assigned group of students while on off-site program field trips;
● Annually complete fifteen (15) clock hours of approved professional development training;
● Provide basic first aid to students;
● Become officially delegated and trained to administer medications to students;
● Clean common surfaces daily, toys regularly and recess equipment as needed;
● Cover shifts as needed for sick or absent staff;
● Assist in the planning of the Summer Program operations;
● Assist in physical organization of the overall program;
● Assist in the creative direction and visual aspects of JagCare; and
● Undertake the daily tasks of cleaning JagCare’s facilities, plus as needed
