2026 Summer Events Intern

Assist the events department with planning sporting events they work with. The intern could help with projects such as communicating with tournament directors, managing websites, updating calendars, grassroots marketing, hospitality coordinating, equipment research, etc. The tasks vary based on the needs of the clients and the events we are hosting. We are hosting the Move United Hartford Nationals in July 2026, and the intern will have a big hand in organizing that event. 

The intern will also assist with data collection for event economic impact calculation and event lodging needs.

Qualified Candidates:
• Have an interest in sports or events.
• Willingness to learn and ability to follow directions
• Able to adapt quickly and perform in a fast-paced work environment
• Prior experience in working events (not required but preferred)
• Able to work 20-30 hours a week and some weekends. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Canva.
• Ability to lift 40lbs.
• Seeking a sport management, business, or similar degree.
