2026 Summer Leadership Institute Fellow

Breakthrough Atlanta's College Prep Programs' Summer Leadership Institute Fellowship is seeking summer fellows for its two-week enrichment program, which will be held from June 1st to June 11th, 2026. This program is open to currently enrolled rising 10th-grade scholars in Breakthrough Atlanta’s College Prep Programs, primarily targeting students from metro-Atlanta public schools.

The institute will take place on a local college campus, where students will engage in college and career case study projects focused on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) fields. Participants will work towards developing persuasive business pitches and will compete for the Summer Leadership Institute - College Shark Tank title and prize.

Each summer fellow will be responsible for delivering academic instruction to students in Breakthrough Atlanta’s program. The responsibilities of the summer fellow include lesson planning, student engagement, classroom management, and administration to effectively prepare metro Atlanta students for success after high school.

This is a temporary part-time position lasting three weeks, reporting to the Director of College Prep Programs. The role will begin on May 26, 2026, and end on June 12, 2026.
