Job Description
Essential Functions:
Monitors and coordinates Eversource’s participation in active regulatory proceedings.
Ensures appropriate individuals within Eversource are aware of regulatory changes and compliance obligations.
Ensures filings are appropriately reviewed, receive necessary approvals, and are made in a timely fashion.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
Ability to summarize both in writing and verbally - quickly and accurately
Advanced organizational and time management skills
Effective interpersonal skills are necessary since the job requires interaction with a myriad of individuals within the Companies (e.g., legal, regulatory affairs, business owners)
Regulatory Analysts work closely, often sharing docket responsibilities as necessary to be responsive to regulatory and business deadlines
Education & Experience:
Must currently be pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, political science, law, policy, environmental, energy or sustainability. Preference on 2026 graduates.
Working Conditions:
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
Mental Aspects:
The job requires the ability to manage multiple dockets simultaneously, as well as multiple compliance orders, using problem solving skills and critical path assessment

Interns are paid through our Managed Service Provider Program and are not employees of Eversource. Pay rates are hourly, based on year of graduation and if the role is technical or non-technical. Rates start at $18.12 for a freshman and go up to $27.63 for a graduate level student.
