Landscape Architecture Intern

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking an Intern for our Landscape Architecture Department in Wall, NJ. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of landscape design drawings, renderings, and presentation materials
• Support project teams with site analysis, grading plans, planting design, and sustainable site design concepts
• Conduct research on materials, plant species, and design standards
• Assist with CAD drafting, 3D modeling, and visualization for design presentations
• Participate in the development of construction documents, cost estimates, and specifications
• Attend site visits and project meetings, as appropriate
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and planners on multi-disciplinary projects
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Landscape Architecture team

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
• Strong design, graphic, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with SketchUp, Lumion, or GIS a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks
• Enthusiasm for learning, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
