How does spending a summer at the beach serving the Lord sound to you? You'll be part of an enthusiastic team since we hire over 65 summer staff for positions in a variety of areas. At CBCC you will learn skills that are essential for any job such as communication, leadership, creativity, and teamwork. There are even opportunities for you to share and build on your own unique interests and talents like music, photography, and design. Check out each department listed below for a list of some of the included responsibilities.

Kids Program – Childcare and kids program (Nursery-Highschool), family activities, and recreation center.

Housekeeping – Cleaning guest rooms, towel changes, meeting room setup, and other facility cleaning.  

Food services – Wait staff, dishes, cooking, and baking.

Grounds - Landscaping, lawn maintenance, garbage disposal, and basic maintenance tasks.

Coach House - Food and coffee preparation and service, customer interaction and money handling. 

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • A Christian in agreement with CBCC’s statement of faith, and with a consistent Christian testimony and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Able to work well both individually and in a team environment.
  • Able to receive instruction and feedback with desire for constant improvement.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule in a variety of areas including split shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to live in a group housing setting and comply with all group housing rules and expectations.
  • A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • A desire to be part of this ministry as a service unto the Lord and not merely a job.
  • Strength and stamina to perform physically demanding duties for 6-10 hours each day.

Benefits include living less than a block from the Oregon Coast, housing, three meals a day, laundry faculties, 1.5-2 days off per week, scholarship for colleges or trade schools, opportunities for Spiritual growth such as staff worship nights and Bible studies, as well as participation in unique staff only events.
